「暮らしに寄り添うかたち」をコンセプトに、大理石で彫刻活動を行っています。

かつては道具や日用品として使われていましたが、時代の流れによって様々な素材の発達や発見、
技術の進化によって石は日常から遠ざかっていったように思います。
現代で石は、生活の中で取るに足らない素材ですが、かつてのように道具としてではなく、
人の心の隣に沿っていられる存在でありたいという思いで制作しています。

そして身近に感じてもらえるように、日常の中にある、何気なく目にする静物をモチーフにしています。

モチーフの選定について、一概に誰もが必要ではないものを基準に選定しています。

例えば、
ペットボトルなどの代用品がある瓶や容器
情報を手軽に得られる時代に意味を問われる紙の本
育てても食べることのできない、いつかは朽ちていく観葉植物。
 

これらの必要性に疑わしいものたちを、
暮らしの中で馴染みの少ない大理石という別の素材で表現することで、
普段から見ているものの魅力に気づいたり、違う視点で物事を考えたり、
新しい発見ができるきっかけになれたらと思い制作活動をしています。

忙しい生活の中で、呼吸が深くできるような、
見える形だけにとらわれない目には見えない何かを感じてもらえれば幸いです。

​With the concept of “a form that accompanies our daily life,” I have been working on marble sculptures.

In the past, stone was used as a tool or daily necessities,

but with the passage of time,
the development and discovery of various materials and

the evolution of technology,
stone seems to have moved away from our daily lives.

In modern times, stone is an insignificant material in our daily lives,

but I create stone sculptures not as a tool as it used to be,

but with the hope that they will remain next to people's hearts.

I use still life motifs that we see casually in our daily life so that people can feel familiar with them.

The motifs are selected based on what is not generally necessary for everyone.

For example, 
bottles and containers for which there are substitutes such as plastic bottles 
paper books whose meaning is questioned in an age when information is readily available 
houseplants that cannot be grown or eaten and will one day decay.


By expressing these things of questionable necessity in a different material, marble, which is less familiar in our daily life, 
I'm working in the hope that it will help us to notice the charm of things we usually see,
to think about things from a different perspective, and to make new discoveries.

I hope you will feel something invisible to the eye, something that is not limited to the visible form, something that allows you to breathe deeply in your busy life.





以「陪伴我們日常生活的形式」為概念，我一直在創作大理石雕塑。

在過去，石材被用作工具或日常用品，但隨著時間的流逝、各種材料的開發和發現，以及技術的進化，石材似乎已遠離我們的日常生活。
時至今日，石頭在我們的日常生活中已是微不足道的材料，但我創作石雕作品時並不像過去那樣把它當作工具，而是希望它能留在人們的心靈旁邊。

我使用日常生活中隨處可見的靜物圖案，讓人們感到熟悉。

這些圖案是根據一般人不需要的東西來選擇的。

舉例來說，
瓶子和容器，而這些東西都有替代品，例如塑膠瓶子
紙質書籍，在資訊唾手可得的時代，其意義受到質疑
不能種植或食用、終有一天會腐朽的室內盆栽。


我用日常生活中較不熟悉的大理石這種不同的材質來表達這些必要性受到質疑的事物，希望
它能幫助我們注意到我們通常所看到的事物的魅力，從不同的角度來思考事物，讓我們有新的發現。

我希望您能感受到一些眼睛看不到的東西，一些不局限於可見形式的東西，一些能讓您在忙碌的生活中深呼吸的東西。
